Internet marketing: is every advertising effort done online. It is almost as old as the internet, yet remains an industry that is in the process of defining itself and is continuously growing in all directions. Methods continue to be developed in order to be more effective in the business. Millions of creative pioneers today are cashing in on the business, bringing with them the eyes and ears, the worldly experience of different cultures and perspectives. These are the new group of professionals who have undergone internet marketing training in one way or another in order aim for maximum efficiency and productivity in the business.

The Visitors/Surfers (the clientele, buyers, and internet users): All people who want to search the internet for a certain interest, objective, and goal.

Cyberspace (the internet, the World Wide Web): where it all plays out. This is a fast changing mechanism where new softwares are created and updated consistently.

How All these mechanisms merge in internet marketing? Affiliate Marketing: This is when a company pays other websites to direct traffic towards their own website, effectively promoting their products or services. Affiliates, as they are armed with their own websites, have the ability to publish product reviews, press releases, or even articles regarding the merchants site: usually found on an internet marketing blog ran by the affiliate.

Search Engine Optimization or SEO: When you Google or search the web, the web will give you a thousand sites with which you can do your research. Studies show that most people only use the first ten search items that are found. The role of SEO specialist is to make you website be among the top ten on the list. That way you have a measure of confidence that people would go to your site.

Viral Marketing: This method spreads information like a virus all over the net and therefore all over the world. The key here is to provide useful information that people would necessarily need on a certain subject. These are specialized internet marketing articles with really good content. This information spreads out as it is automatically linked to all the users of your information spreading your advertising all throughout the worldwide web.
